2002 911 Turbo X50 Low mileage

Description: For Sale Porshce 911 Turbo 6 speed with the X50 option package. This car is arctic silver with full leather interior (black) and silver painted trim. This car is in near pristine condition with both inside and out. There is no body work or history of damage. It is very fast and very balanced. I bought this car from the second owner (with 27000 miles) who only drove it 3000 miles. It comes with a PORSCHE CERTIFIED PREOWNED WARRANTY which is TRANSFERRABLE to the new owner. It is good until August of 2010. However I have yet to find a 993 to my liking and price range so if these seats sell, they sell. If not that is ok, too! Description: 1986 NA 944 I bought the car 2 years ago with the intention of using as a daily driver. The car is straight and runs. The paint is horrible. The car is blue and the clear coat is peeling very very badly. I began to get it ready for paint, but I just don't have time to mess with it any more. The car had about 130,000 miles on it when i bought it. I put no more than another 5000. Since I've owned it, I fixed the odo gears, new brake pads and rotors, new Kumho tires, new shift lever and bushing, 4 wheel alignment, new front strut inserts, new belts and hoses, rebuilt oil cooler and valve job. I had the valve job done when I replaced the head gasket before i realized that the oil cooler was the problem and not the head gasket. I also removed the AC compressor since the AC didn't blow cold air, but I kept it for anyone that want to fix the AC system. The interior is OK, the seats are real bad, but I purchased a very nice custom made re-upholster kit but havent finished putting it on. The car also comes with a huge list of spares from a Black 86 that I parted: Both doors, hood, hatch, entire head light system, radiator, head, intake and exhaust manifolds, fuel injection components, interior parts, including black seats with minor wear and tear, switch, trim, both front strut/hub/rotor assemblies, all four brake calipers and 4 phone dials with good tires. I don't have any photos of the car right now, but I can take some later and email upon request. The car is located 40 miles east of Pittsburgh. If you have the time and energy, there is everything here to complete a very nice 944. This would also be ideal for anyone looking to build a race car! $1500 takes it all. markfbarr@ymail.com

1988 944 NA Race Car

Description: 1988 944 dedicated race car. Was set up for PCA H prior to switching the order of the classes. I think it would be C now. Better for SP2. Following upgrades: Suspension: Racer's Edge package including: - Single-adjustable Leda - 550# springs at all 4 corners - milled torsion bars - camber plates - sway bars - bushings - shock tower brace - Charlie Arms Safety: - 944 Turbo brakes all around - Safety Devices Roll Cage - Corbeau one-piece Seats - window net - kill switch - simple fire extinguisher in car - dated harnesses (really old Simpson cam-lock on passenger side. Like new, but expiring Schroth on driver side Engine: - custom Motor Werks chip tuning - few other tweaks and mods - puts down nice power - call for more info Transmission: - Guard Transmission LSD - few other tweaks and mods - call for more info The car has been meticulously maintained by Kerry Singley at IPC/NASA and Matthew Forte at Motor Werks Racing. Small racing dent in passenger quarter panel and typical chips on front bumper (as seen in photos). Otherwise very good paint - always stored indoors, temperature controlled. I bought the car in January 2003 and had most of it rebuilt (engine, tranny, added LSD, full body paint, suspension, turbo brakes, etc). I ran 5-6 DE and Club racing events in 03, 04, and 05, maybe a total of 12-15. Since then, I've just done average of 2 DE's per year, so the car probably has about 20 events total. I recently removed the carpets and center console and painted the interior white. I took out about 100 pounds, but there is much more weight to go. It used to run at class weight (2844) with 1/2 tank of gas. The car is a blast to drive and is set up very well. I'll sell one set of the wheels pictured with the car, but I also have a nearly identical 2nd set. I also have a set of 16" S2(?) wheels with like-new Hoosier rains. I might be interested in having the Charlie Arms swapped out to get the price lower, but since there already in, you might want to keep them. Description: 1993 Porsche RS America, 17th ever made (out of 701 total), 81,700 miles. Factory rolled fenders, with only 2 options: A/C and stereo. NO SUNROOF. Porsche OEM LSD added. Engine serial number: 62N05849. Superb mechanical condition, everything works as it should. The engine has no leaks and uses VERY LITTLE oil - less than 1 quart per 2,000 miles!! The car pulls very hard and the torque is phenomenal. Upgrades include: TPC supercharger, suspension, brakes, and many others. Carfax reports an accident in 2002 to the front of the car. I was told that the car slid off the road and scraped and slightly dented the bottom of the front trunk. Spare tire, tools, etc. fit fine in the area, there are no issues. All body parts are original, including bumper, hood, fenders, etc. (see photos). Airbags did not deploy. Overall cosmetic condition is far from perfect, since the car has spent time on the track and some time uncovered under the sun in Georgia, therefore the paint is in poor shape. There is a dent on the driver side rear quarter panel above the wheel well that has been re-sprayed, but poorly. There is no rust anywhere on the car! Do not expect a concours winner. Body panels are original except for the driver side rear bumper piece - replaced with an aftermarket cutout part to accommodate the dual exhaust. The car comes with all original books and manuals along with a 3-ring binder with all maintenance history starting in 2002 (over $31,000 in receipts from maintenance, repairs, and upgrades). This car needs nothing mechanically and is ready to go as is. It is a truly special car - powerful and reliable, it will not disappoint. The substance of it resides beneath the Turbo's rear wing in the form of modified turbochargers (more boost), larger intercoolers, and more aggressive engine-control programming. It takes the standard Turbo's 420-horse rating up to 450 horsepower. The upgrade costs an additional $17,880. From the outside, or even inside, an X50-packing Turbo looks no different from the standard Turbo. It idles smoothly (although with a richer, gurglier exhaust note). Power performance upgrades all preformed by GMG Santa Ana, CA - GIAC Programming, Turbo Mike's Plenums, Cargraphic - muffler, cats & headers, Hybrid GMG Turbos, GIAC program for a total additional 130 HP (WOW!)). Bi-Xenon headlight clusters feature xenon high-intensity discharge headlights for both the low and high beams. The Aero Stabilizer Wing from Porsche adds hi-performance road handling. The HRE 19" aluminum alloy wheels with New Michelin 235/35 ZR19 (91Y) Extra Load tires; rear wheels mount 315/25 ZR19 (98Y) Extra Load tires. Also derived from the GT1 racecar, one-piece, four-piston brake calipers reduce unsprung weight and heat and feature 13-inch vented, cross-drilled discs front and rear. The standard Porsche Stability Management system (PSM) can detect a loss of grip at the front or rear and reduce instability by applying braking to individual wheels and, if necessary, altering engine power. Added upgraded high-end digital audio system. In addition, the 911 Turbo adds new front seat belt pretensioners and force limiters to its extensive roster of safety technology, and the trunk now includes an anti-entrapment release with internal handle. New comfort and convenience features include: auto-dimming inside and outside mirrors and rain sensor windshield wipers. Interior enhancements include redesigned center vents, while matte-surface switches improve tactile feel. Description: Complete Bosch Mechanical Fuel Injection System (less fuel filter console) from my 1972 911T. MFI was removed from a decent running 911T in 1983 during a complete overhaul. I fitted Webbers in place of MFI for ease of adjustment & tuning. The fuel pump and filter console stayed with the car (now sold). All parts have been in storage since 1983. Throttle body butterflies are snug, pump turns smoothly.

Description: Ok gang, my very cherry, very spiffy, garaged, 94,000 original miles, 944 S2 Cabriolet is for sale. Have many records. All work is two years old by Powertech in NJ: replaced top (has original boot), repainted the plastic trunk surround, did a basic once-over on all the mechanicals, belts, hoses, and all fluids, fixed some nits too. Replaced brake pads in 2009. Car is in GREAT shape as you can see from the photos. The wheels are perfect. Kuhmo tires still have lots of life. Engine runs perfect. A/C is cold. Sport Seats are rare and perfect too. Dash is mint; not a single belemish of crack. Entire interior is mint. Engine bay is sweet and clean. Engine runs cool even in Georgia heat; temp pegs at first mark. A few stone chips on the front valance are the only issues. No dents or dings. Body is beautiful. I will MISS THIS CAR! But, my daughter is a SR. in HS and she needs her own vehicle, so I must sell my baby (so I can keep the Black Car in the avatar) I need $16,500 for this rare and beautiful wonder. (Yes I can send a photo of the top up later...)
