We are selling or trading a V8 Porsche powered trike that was built by my wife's father before he passed away. His health got too bad and we wasn't able to finish it. This is a collector's item. He was a genius and an incredible builder.

The 928 gods hath smote him down for such sacrilege!

He sure used up every gone-to-hell 928 part he could, including the wheels and the Pep Boys shifter.

And he used the front end from a Yamaha XS1100 but deleted the brakes.

Looking at that front end again, he has also added some hella springs to support that massive weight.

No way will those motorcycle struts and custom head unit last more than a couple big bumps in the road.

Found this in the CL KC. Is it possible that someone actually bought this thing?

It has S3 manifolds on it, worth the price of admission right there.

288 crank hp, no power robbing exhaust (or cats, or sound deadening, or body), imagine the straightline performance!

In acceleration. It doesn't even have front brake calipers. Not that motorcycle disks would be good for more than one stop anyway.

Oh, agreed. The only place I'd drive that thing is onto a lift, so I could harvest that S3 motor out of it.

It would guarantee you to be the first person at the scene of the accident.

As for the CL add asking for help finishing it, I wouldn't touch bolt one on that thing.
