That's disgusting. Somebody behind this theft is really sick.

Here's some pics of the car from the (well deserved) articles on the car.

How can we link this thread to FB etc???

I'm just sick about this. I was born and raised in Pedro and my parents and many friends are still there. I just want to spread the word the best I can.

Hopefully it's already on all the forum sites, but word needs to get out and the more eyes, the better to hunt down the dogs responsible. They hang horse thieves. I'm fine with a capital punishment in this case. This just has my blood boiling. The optimist in me hopes it's just a misguided grandson or one of those "we took your car and did a restoration" gift.

You could use this link to self reference this thread.

Hopefully all the sites like Jalopnik that covered the car's million mile story will follow-up with high profile awareness of the theft.

Thank you. I've posted on FB in the San Pedro Born and Raised Group and it's being picked up already. I hope they catch the jerks. It's not like it's a Honda and they are on every corner.

Also hoping it's not in a shipping container already

I LOVE the picture I just posted. It appears to have been taken on the Twisties in RPV leading up to Crest Road from the Ocean. We drove that same road almost every weekend on the way home.....

I'd suggest the owner post to pelican and rennteam, as well as excellence, panorama, pca.org ... hell, why not an Amber Alert !

I don't see anything on their front page this morning, so I just sent an email with the subject line "million mile" Porsche stolen. Here's hoping.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I would be checking with all container companies, shipping companies , and Dock yards in your area. Posting flyers with pics of car as well. Hopefully it was kids who don't know the value of the car, and it will appear unscathed. Best of Luck!

So sorry to hear...especially from inside your garage! Also probably 2 miles from my house, where there isn't a Porsche right now.

I expect "steal to order" going on a container to Germany or Japan.
