I say no, but that's just me. I like stealth but, well, the car isn't real stealthy is it??

Which way are YOU leaning?? And since it's a "genuine" RUF you can get away with it. I think it would still be tasteful even if I say no.

Also, do you have any OTHER RUF identification on it?? Ithink that would make a difference too.

And like I said, I say no, but that's just what I would do. Just MY opinion.

Personally I think the car looks good either way!!

DenDanger,
It's not a genuine Ruf, it's a Ruf BTR conversion.I do have a Ruf badge up front on the bonet. Which way am I leaning, well just for the looks of it.

I say yes, you paid a good amount of $$$$$to be able to have your 930 wear the Ruf badge on the hood. so people already know theres a little something extra under your decklid. why not reinstate that fact that you have a ruf when you pull away from them. To me the little insignia badges found on various porsches and many other sports cars add to what makes them special.

pete,
thanks on the input. Yes it used to be guards red but the colour started showing it's age and I've always loved the way the yellow bird looked and wanted to be the only speed yellow 930/964 in Singapore....and now I am..

Well, you certainly aren't sneaking up on anybody in that car... If the RUF cars came with it from the, er, factory then I'd say do it. If not, go without.

Sammy,
It's your car! Go for it!!! Don't be concerned about what we think. It's your canvas. Paint it the way you want.
Cheers,
Rudy

My good friend who drives the MK2 GT3 is the one thats advising me against it. He says it looks too tachy with it on and its better to have it look subtle. I'm in two minds.

there is nothing, and I mean nothing, subtle about your car. put it on there. One way to look at it: stickers come off, nothing ventured - nothing gained.
