Default Mexico blue paint question........help!!!

My dad is restoring his 62 t-6 roadster and is debating between numerous colors. He got a paint sample of a factory porsche color that says "glasur" blue, which I would think it glacier blue, but I always thought glacier was a very light colored blue. This color looks to be that of mexico blue or something more striking. Does anyone have any pics of a galcier blue car? thanks for your help

Hi mile2424...

"glasur" means Glasurit...the correct color you are looking for is Oslo Blue (Porsche color code # 6203)...the other correct blue for 1962 would be Bali blue but it's really dark blue...Royal blue is the most similar to Mexican blue but Royal was a 1960/1961 color, correct for the single grille Roadster only...open the driver's door and check the square metal plaque with the vin #...below the vin# you'll find the color code (4 digits starting with 62)...the twin grille Roadsters are wonderful cars and pretty hard to find as well...

Take care...

Hi Aaron...check this one...Royal blue...

I guess this Speedster is painted "Speedster blue" kind of Sky blue exclusive for the Speedsters in 1955 (or late 1954)...

Take care...
