The panther, tiger, and king tiger were on the other hand phenomenal tanks and their only weakness was low production. I have been in and on those and others at the bovington tank museum at the british army proving grounds. Just like our panzer (928) those tanks are just awesome sights. The panther being a slight favorite.

I like the Panther too.
I've went to the Aberdeen tank museum once a few years back. They have almost all the real WWII and even WWI tanks there too. It's awesome and HUGE!!!
You are right though, only 2 Maus were ever built, i've no idea how they were destroyed, but as can be seen in the pic i posted above one of them clearly was blown to many pieces.

You're right about the Ferdinand too btw.....another overly-complex and unreliable disaster.
