Help from the herd on paint color selection
Ok,
I was always taught that there is wisdom in a multitude of council...
I have a freshly blasted 53 356 outlaw..she has a Dyno'd EFI 2.6l polo 930-4 with GT3 rods (about 220hp and 180 torcs), 901 close ratio with L/S. Boxter calipers as well as early 911 rear suspension and other not-so pure upgrades.. I'm seeking input on color selection for her. She has really nice performance seating in a camel colored perf leather.
Bombs away!!!

Arena Red is nice I have a 993 in Arena, but a 356 looks better in a vintage solid color, even an outlaw... These is always the orange that is on the Gumund Coupe at the Porsche Museum.

Go with a 365 vintage color of some kind. Perhaps 6402 Ruby Red or 6407 Signal Red.
Flashy enough to suit a slightly out of the mainstream 365, but classic enough to be appreciated by Porsche enthusiasts.

my goodness what a car you have!
I painted my 59A outlaw using a mix of two factory porsche colors. Glasurit single stage of course.
I really was on the fence about using a porsche gyser grey or chaulk. Would have been really nice.
The deep rich burgundy or deep turquise of the era would also be interesting.
what was you original color according to the Kardex?
