i service the car (3.6) myself and i think as long as we we talk about ordinary maintance your local shop should be able to do it well.
specific porsche turbo knowledge is requested if it comes to fix any troubles.
regarding the costs you should have in mind that access to the engine is time-consuming. to check the valve clearance for instance you have to remove wastegate, intercooler and some parts of the SAI.
