I feel completely at home in the cockpit of my Cayman S. Check out the Cayman Club for their "impressions" and you'll get very strong opinions favoring the Cayman. Go to the 997 forums here or elsewhere and the Cayman is clearly the second fiddle in the lineup. Don't think "better" is really the right question. There are hundreds, perhaps thousands of threads debating the "better" question, whether it's 911 versus Cayman or Vette or GT-R or R-8 or whatever. What do you like? What are you using it for? It's like going to a garage sale, one person's junk is another's treasure. I like the looks of a Cayman better than the 911 and I'm not overwhelmed by more horsepower. I don't trade cars every couple of years. Having driven the 911 and 911S at PSDS recently, I'd like to have one but...would be just as happy in a new Cayman or Boxster.
