I'm in the process of importing a 997 into Canada and the US dealer offered to subtract $2K if I didn't want the CPO. On a car like yours the CPO is probably worth it because you could sell the car four years from now and still offer the purchaser a year of Porsche warranty. There is definitely a premium paid for a CPO car. Part of it is for the warranty but also because to qualify for CPO many of the consumables must still have alot of life left (ie. tires, rotors, pads) although in your case that may not be much of a factor.
