BTW, does anybody know which codes trigger CEL and which ones don't?

Again I hate to be the bearer of bad news but
In most upstate counties the NYS annual inspection process begins by plugging any '96 or newer car into a state owned computer w/ dedicated line to DMV. The state reads any and all codes and will flag any vehicle w/ a code as non passing
