You should really quit perpetuating stereotypes, especially incorrect ones. The proper retort would have been something that included references to gold chains, jorts. and living the 'Corvette Lifestyle (tm)' after which a mention of 'Save the Wave' usually comes up.

The new C8 crowd is going to change the Corvette landscape forever... and probably not for the better. I may poke fun at it, but I'll take the jorts & new balance wearing judgmental old guys over what attitude I see coming in.

I haven't been keeping up on C8 stuff (I just can't get past the huge, squashed back end) but what's the C8 attitude coming forth?

Actually, I never understood the distaste many had for C7 looks either; I think its the best looking Corvette since the C3's. Our black C7 is absolutely sinister...

Nice combo. Where are you in Ohio? I’m west of Cleveland.

Thanks...we're out east in Lake County...kinda near Mentor.

I like the Vette (wife's car for the most part) but I *love* the Cayman. So much more entertaining 95% of the time for me.

Oh my...have not heard good things about Toledo lately...apparently a hotbed of human trafficking or something to that effect. On a positive note, at least it's not Youngstown!

Lately? I left 30 years ago (saying that makes me feel old) and it was not good then either.

off topic rant:
I’m going crazy not having my car right now. Was such a nice weekend too. Took it in Tuesday last week for oil change and the satellite antenna was not connecting. Oil change good, satellite antenna not so much. They ordered a new one and sent it over to the body shop for paint... body shop painted some else’s antenna Miami Blue

jokingly told my wife I sold it when she noticed it wasn’t in the garage Tuesday night.... she knows I’m usually full of it with comments like that. Yesterday she asked if I was serious since it wasn’t back yet.

Got my car back and the Sat Radio works BUT... the juice wasn't worth the squeeze! Those antenna's must be "German Engineered for Permanent Attachment" because they pulled and stretched the metal roof panel getting the original off. The area around the antenna now looks dented and distorted. They were very apologetic and will make it right, but . I'm that guy, the one that will absolutely. every time and without fail, win the oops award. In the mean time... I'm clicking off the miles!

We better never be in close proximity as the world will likely implode.

Really?! I have a 18 GTS too. It's kind of sluggish in comfort mode but did you put it in sport mode? I did Cobb tune mine though. Wakes up comfort mode a little to where I think it should have been and is a big jolt in sport mode. Very much worth it. I think the 4 banger Macan is plenty peppy too in sport mode stock so long as you aren't afraid to punch it.

Yeah, taking the garbage out is usually a 10 minute affair now; 2 minutes to deal with garbage, 8 minutes of staring at car.

The way the light reflects off of the hips of the car is mesmerizing.

Stopped at dealer today to pick up Service History printout...like going to a little car show. Had some absolutely vicious black 911's and a white/gold one that just screams 'class'.
