Hi All - anyone here have a 2022 allocation for a 718 Cayman or Boxster confirmed with a v200 delivery date established? Starting to wonder if the chip shortage will drastically reduce (or even eliminate?) 2022 allocations that will be released for these models in coming months.

A dealer near me just told me they just received a Boxster 25th Anniversary allocation so they do exist.

New to forum...
I called my previous dealer in Florida back in March and asked about 4.0 allocation, he called me back in about half an hour and asked if I wanted 25th anniversary or still wanted to go with 4.0. I love the idea of 25th for collectability but not my exact desire. 4.0 it was so within a few days had confirmed build start of 2 July...and it is MY 22 so git to pick shark blue. .

I have been allocated a Boxster 25 with expected delivery now Sept. 3. We shall see....

Just asked my dealer to put in the order so only at V070 will let you know once it get change to V200. I am in Canada though don’t know if there’s any difference.

V070 is a demand signal…it isn’t an allocation. It may/may not turn into a car.

Every buildable allocation has a specific build date associated with it.

I have a MY22 BGTS 4.0 allocation, V200 status with a lock date of 25 June. Delivery date is supposed to be around 10 Sep. However I have heard that 14-ways, 18-ways, and strangely enough, the 16.9 gallon fuel tank could cause delays. I think 16.9 gal tank is standard on the GTS?? So not sure exactly what to expect.

I have a base Cayman June 2021 allocation with a commission number and V250 status. Estimated dealer arrival 9/10/21.

First round of allocations for MY22 happened in april/may, at least for GT4/Spyder/GTS4.0s. My dealer knew about the allocation for my GT4 end of march I think it was, saying Porsche told them they were getting a GT4. Porsche unlocked that allocation in May and I went V200 then. V250 end of june. V300 july 31.

2nd round of allocations should be soon. All you can really do is talk to the dealers about the model you want, give them a build code, get a V070 and hope they get an allocation. I'm not sure how many allocations they're giving for base cayman's or T's or S's, but they seem few and far between this year so far for GT4/Spyders.
