Default Decoding PDK Gearbox Part Number

Hi,

I'm confused trying to identify a PDK gearbox I've been offered that's being advertised as having a limited slip diff.

When I check the gearbox number 9G230001141 on Porsche supplier sites the description says "w/limited slip diff" but also says "wo/locking differential" .

What's the difference between a limited slip diff and a locking diff??

Does it have the LSD option or not?

Generally a locking diff is fitted to 4WD vehicles and controls the drive between front and rear axles. A LSD controls the drive (torque split) between two driven wheels in the same axle.

I'll answer my own question based on what I found out to close this thread.

Non -LSD version has part number 9G230001141

LSD version has part number 9G230002141
