Default Wheel Stud Length

Switching from lug bolts to studs to facilitate frequent wheel changes. The retailer I'm looking at has 68, 78, and 90 mm lengths available.

Stock wheels are 57 mm offset all around, track wheels are offset 46 front, 44 rear. No spacers.

I know that you can't go long with too much length, but I don't want excess sticking out.

What length will work? Website implies all of them, but not 100% clear.

I doubt that the wheel offset makes a difference as that measurement only tells you how far off of the wheel centerline the mounting flange is. I think that the stud length is more dependent on how much meat there is on the wheel center. Your track wheels may require a different length than your non-track wheels

My wheel stud conversion used 45 mm studs (assuming the invoice is correct)

Thanks - this is useful and unambiguous information. I've since figured out that studs are measured two ways. Some brands list the total length of the stud and some list the length of stud protruding from the hub after it's threaded in. This had me confused. Your 45's are listed on some sites as 45 and some as 68. BTW, I dig your car - love the racing yellow.

Thanks the color hasn't gotten old on me since I bought it 6 years ago. I use factory wheels and spacers with no issue, if yours are similar the 45 (or 68) should work.
