Sweet, mine is one of 6 so far lol

I went with the standard seats for a few reasons, the major one is I need as much headroom as possible and they seem to sit slightly lower than the 18 way. Also, I'll likely have a racing seat setup for the car for track days so the adjustability isn't a necessity. Thirdly, I'm way too big to fit into the Porsche LWBS comfortably.

Thanks for your efforts Ron. Any info how many are PDK?

Thanks. Mike.

Also, I've only done a spreadsheet for GT4s for 2021. It's very labor intensive, but now that I have the first 83 in, it should be fairly easy to stay on top of it.

Thank you. These tidbits and your efforts are cool!

I’m doing the stock 2 ways in my Spyder. May have gone 18 way but Porsche decided to not offer any seat memory option on the Spyder/GT4 so being realistic I’d spend every drive tweaking the 18 ways after my wife drove and she will drive this often and in anger, she’s quite the hot shoe as well. While I fit into the buckets it’s a tight fit and considering I will not be doing many track days I just can’t justify them considering how we will be using this car.

If I do decide to do more track events I can drop in a Sparco if I need to.

Currently sitting at 57% manual vs. 43% PDK, but....

The first 20 cars built for the 2021 model year were all manuals, and based on VIN order, there have been way more PDKs vs manuals on the higher VIN cars. I’m thinking that a number of the manual orders are from people that were originally getting their orders ready before the switch over to 2021 models and the addition of the PDK.

I must be #2 of 6 with the stock seats. On my previouse 991.1 GT3 had stock seats and felt very comfortable. Not gonna be tracking the GT4 but want the comfort and the ease of getting in and out of the car.

Now I'm curious, is this data accessible on the Vin Analytics site? I'm curious what my build order is with WP0AC2A88MS289215

Has your car already been produced? If so, what was the date? VIN Analytics doesn’t yet show a production date for that VIN.

Good to know. I'll start hunting out other VINs this weekend and start plugging them in my spreadsheet.

There is apparently a delay in VIN Analytics getting build dates, so I'll try to watch and see how long that is.

I have gt3rs with lwb and I track my m4 mainly a lot and still....

I have no clue as to why anyone orders the lwb seats other than looks Tbh or if you drive the car very Very sparingly. I will only order the standard “sofas” from here on out as I like to daily drive my New cars. Once you have one car with lwb I wouldn’t imaging outside of an 2/3RS you would really want them. I would never ever pay extra for them, that’s crazy talk. These gt4/spyder/gt3 are THE BEST TOURING CARS ON THE PLANET!!!! The sofas is what imo makes them so awesome. No one will ever side eye you on wtf are these seats I’m getting into like they do with the lwb 🤣

They must not fit you well that's all, which is ok, but don't make general statements aoout them this based on your personal fit or comfort. LWBS to me feel as if they were custom built to wrap around my body. And I've driven in multiple race seats and Porsche street-car bucket seats including the Euro GT3 996 buckets in my 996 GT3 which I also used to have in my street/track 987.1 Boxster S over 70+ track days and 40k backroad miles.
