Some guys have complained about the deviated stitching on the steering column.
If it's red/yellow it reflects and distracts you.
The silver might be subtle enough to get away with.
Maybe google some comparisons or check out a YouTube review before ticking that box.

its holding up very well. The yellow marker at 12 could use a cleaning, but the wheel and other alcantara bits in the car show no signs of excessive wear. I wouldn’t have the steering wheel in anything but alcantara in this car. One more thing—pick the car up in Germany!
