Default 718 GT4/Spyder - CXX Thread

Thought I'd get this started to share our experiences and post up what you're doing or thinking of doing.

Anybody doing it?

I am told CXX is available but pricing has not been firmed up yet. I'm trying to get a visit booked at a Design Studio (PEC LA/ATL) to review upholstery options. Dealers here have a small sample of swatches. Factory consult is another option but not feasible for me before lock date.

Thinking about it but would prefer a grayish/black pattern versus some of the white/black patterns I've seen.

I tried, but missed the CXX deadline per Phillip at PNCA Exclusive Manufaktur. According to him, my Late April allocation deadline for CXX was back in December.
Might be the same for May USA allocations as well as we are at the end of January already. June and beyond might be possible? Pricing won’t be cheap... wasn’t for my 981 Spyder CXX options.

It's nice but I think I prefer Cohiba or maybe Cognac....need to see them in person. Pics online are not accurate.

The speedster concept used Aniline leather which is very nice. Looks a bit darker than cognac and a bit lighter than ascot, more depth. I don't think this is an option though.

That looks great, I think I'd like a little more darkness to the leather...just a tad...which is where Cohiba might fill the gap.

I like the natural leather in my 997, do you know what colours natural leather is available in?

There are a few like "natural brown", cognac, espresso, red, and cedar (don't know anything about this one). Cohiba from the Cayenne is called a club leather which is a higher quality nappa leather so likely natural. Cohiba may be a bit too orange for me.

I wondered about the orange look to it. Found some threads where owners described the colour and commented on shared pictures. Apparently doesn't look like some of the orange looking pics. Really want to see it.

Join the club... I was kind of irritated. Distribution of my allocation was after the CXX deadline... which makes zero sense!

PTS with matching deviated stitching is what I was hoping for, but am happy to have an allocation 😀

Yeah... me too! They gave me the option to take the next allocation if I wanted, but I passed. Them declining my request is a blessing in disguise. Did the full customization thing with my 981 Spyder... 1 of 22 PTS Spyder for the USA. Although cool... not sure the increase in price for PTS and CXX is worth it for me this time around. Excited to see what others do though.
