Emden next stop.....
Seems a lot of us are wondering when the Emden boat regatta will begin again, so I thought I would post some resources to help out.
Below is the PWL schedule although it has not been updated since March 3 and not all boats are shown, like the Morning Caroline etc. Hope is it will update maybe next week when production begins? https://www.pwl.de/en is the site where you can find it or see blackholescion post below he shows you how to do it.
Several VAG car carriers are sitting off Emden or Mexcio waiting. We got some good news on Friday May 1 as the Viking Queen tied up along the Gravis Solomon making port at Emden We now have 4 VAG car carriers at loading docks so maybe things are getting ready? Lets hope! You can check things on the Marine Traffic site https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...53.344/zoom:15 Just enter the ship name or Emden port to get a live view.
If you want a good read on the situation here is great article about how VAG is dealing with the shipping crisis https://www.volkswagenag.com/en/news...the-crisi.html
Hope this helps you out or those sharing the Emden port parking lot with my MB GT4

I suppose that the next milestone is Monday April 27th, if the factory opens and production resumes I figure as soon as there is sufficient cars at the terminal (and it is open) we could see movement.
I have finger's crossed that my Spyder will build next week and get to Emden in time to catch a ride to Halifax on one of these waiting carriers.

Thanks for starting this useful thread! Mine is also waiting at Emden...for a while now. Canadian car so I guess Viking Queen should be the next one to Halifax.
I can see ships are still berthing in Emden so I assume the port is still technically operating. Maybe it is indeed just a matter of having enough finished cars on the ships for the VW group.

Thanks for starting this thread. My GT4 has been sitting at the port of Emden since March 20th.
I just received a status update yesterday from my dealer. It still shows a June 5th delivery.
Viking Queen needs to leave soon for that date to happen.

No worries gives us something to keep the I got to phone my SA out of our heads. I think the P system dates are stale, mind was to be delivered past Friday. The VK has been off Emden for 3 weeks now with other carriers. It will be interesting when they make port how long the turn around is as they have been at sail for over 2 months now. One more hurdle hope we clear it soon, after 2 allocation rodeos in 3 years this cowboy's getting tired until the first day I sit in my 18way sofas. I will post any happenings I see in Emden.

Thanks OP. The article you posted is very interesting. I had not realized VAG has their own ships.

I think my GT4 missed its original ship Demeter Leader on March 20th.
It was the only ship going to San Diego during this time frame. I don't think
Viking Queen is going to San Diego from the looks of this schedule.
Please post the next schedule as it becomes available. Thanks!
