I figured that I'd keep it simple! Can't wait to hear your feedback on the Fabspeed + Akra sound.

My car cover just arrived but I would have picked this up. Why did you sell? Sorry to see it go!

Just bought a set of winter wheels/tires from TireRack:
4x OZ Leggera HLT (2x 8.5x20 ET 55, and 2x 11x20 ET 50)
Name: 4zKPmSl.png
Views: 52
Size: 199.3 KB

And 4x Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 (2x 295/30R20, 2x 245/35 R20).

Install is next Tuesday.
Will be working from home most of the winter so I don't expect to "use" them that much, but since the GT4 is my only car and I live in Cleveland, I need to be able to drive it when required. I already noticed how little grip I have on a 50*F, wet day last week. One slightly bigger throttle application and I immediately broke the rear loose with some sideways action before TC kicked in and stopped me. These should let me drive throughout winter, and even through a low amount of snow if required.
For reference, I drove a 718 Cayman 2.0T 3 years through Cleveland winters without issue, so other than ground clearance I'm well aware of how these handle.

Nice choice for a track wheel too!

That Golf R would make a great winter beater if you still had it!

Yea it's 3 years gone now - and the 6MT in that was pretty average (I was on a stage 1 tune, and on my 2nd clutch / flywheel at 30k miles). It was also black... and I want nothing more to do with a black car.

How much weight saving will you get vs the stock wheels? I like the design.

Honestly, they're pretty lightweight for what they cost: 20x8.5 = 22LBs, 20x11 = 25lbs. It should be roughly equal to OEM weights.
I'm not going for weight savings - they are to be used for the winter (and cheaper overall than the Porsche set)

Has anyone mounted a GoPro on a Spyder? Looking for suggestions on a mounting location and device. Tow-hook mount? Suction mount on windscreen or side window? Clamped to safety bar?

Follow up: everything mounted and they look good.
Unfortunately the new TPMS are not cooperating and not being detected by the car. I'm going to give it a day or 2 of trying to reset it and then phone TireRack to see if they can give me replacement sensors.

I just went through this problem with TPMS, I will look for the parts (now out of the wheels) so we can compare, what does your invoice show for them? What vehicle is listed on the invoice as well?

***Update/found them*** Did they supply RDE048V21 TPMS sensors?

Yes, that's the exact number listed on my invoice (433MHz sensors). Did you have to get a different TPMS?
Vehicle listed is a '16 Cayman GT4 (because that's what I had to select to get correct wheel packages).

Everything I read says these should still mate up just fine....
