You're right, good point. Guess tracking on 20s is the best thing you can do on PCCBs - that kind of sucks tbh as we all know you need 19s or preferably 18s to get the best array of tire selection. But if you're just loaded to the hilt, then guess it doesn't matter if you're spending $2k or $1.5k per set of track tires...yikes.

The other two posts just show the real issues that happen, probably not rampant, but the idea you have to technically worry about your $8k brakes getting damaged by spirited driving on b-roads and/or a little stone...hmmmm...no bueno there.

The other two look like wheel mounting/dismounting issues... which is also magnified more if you have 19’s.

Exactly.

User error disguised as product error.

Because OEM wheels don't flex under braking enough to allow the rotors to score the inside of the wheel. Do you realize how ridiculous that type of assertion is? If the wheels on these cars were soft enough to flex that much under hard braking, they'd be bending like crazy when you hit curbing on track. a) that's not an OEM wheel, and b) that scoring is almost certainly NOT from wheel flex, but rather from something getting caught between the rotor and the wheel, which can happen to any type of rotor.

And the other damage you linked to has nothing to do with wheel flex.

The Forgeline Monobloc 19 inch wheels fit a GT3RS with Ceramics in case that's important

Guys who track their cars wear out pads and rotors. Ceramic rotors cost 8 X more than iron ones. Iron rotors and Pagids stop as well or better. Ceramics are a non starter for me.
