Different US tech manual teams are bad at math. Typically, spec given in Europe is 3000km = 1864 miles.

Neither....1 year unless you're driving it on the regular, than 365 days

Porsche owners that don't change their oil at least annually should turn in their P Card.

2nd Generation Porsche Enthusiast here, I would change the oil at 1000 miles for peace of mind. I've done this for every Porsche I've owned. Doesn't hurt to be cautious. I just hope I'm not killing the planet with my break-in oil change.

I changed mine at 2,000 miles. I got the extra plan with 3 oil changes for $2,900. They saw me coming! LOL
