haha, maybe they never braked this hard?

Default Update review on the 718 GT4

Hello rennlisters, I am back again with another 718 GT4 "REVIEW".

The car is now 5000 miles, and a lot of things has changed...

1. Weird noise coming from passenger side. No, the car isn't haunted. #HappyHalloween
2. Key doesn't work all the time when standing 30 feet away from car. "PANIC BUTTON" might be useless.
3. 2nd gear is longgggggggggggggg… It's good when you're merging to highways and on track, but I want to change gears on twisty roads. WOOLALA, *CLUNK* "2ND GEAR doesn't like being shifted from 1st." If the trans blow up, will this be covered by warranty?
4. Rear taillight is fogging up. WOW! Come on Porsche, I know you guys can do better!

Foggy taillights

I know this should be under warranty but come on…

The rear lights fogging up has been a known issue with these tail lights. It should clear up on its own, but give it a few days. If it is sustained or if you get residue/film on the inside that doesn't go away, then bring it to the dealership. Should be covered under warranty at that point.

My 991.1 GT3 would have tail light condensations too. Thank you for the write up. Still expecting MY21 GT4 manual in 2021.

Can you share how the GT4 feels/compares on track to the Supra, Miata and ZL1 1LE?
