Default No 4 point DRL on US Spec Bi-Xenon Headlights in Black with (PDLS)

Good day,

While configurating MY21 GT4, I wanted the option (XEW) Bi-Xenon Headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) however,
it did not come with the 4 point LED DRLs. Then I decided to check Porsche UK configuration and that option listed above did comes with the 4 point LED DRLs.
Bummer, well I just decided to go with the upgrade (602) LED Headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+) so I can have the 4 point LED DRLs.

Have any of you who custom ordered their GT4/Spyder ran into this situation.

Best regards,
Darren

I have a US spec 2020 GT4 with Bi-Xenon w/ PDLS. It has the 4 point DRL. Did it change for 2021?

All gt4/spyder/gts4.0 lights come with LED DRL's. The base gt4 lights are:
Bi-Xenon™ headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights

I'm guessing so, I didn't want to risk ordering the black Bi-Xenon and not having the 4 point LED DRLs. It didn't describe saying it had 4 points LED DRLs.

I doubt they changed it for 2021. 4 point LED DRL’s are part of the package. I have optional Bi-Xenon’s in my 987 I wanted them in my GT4 along with the PDLS upgrade.

I have yet to see a late model Porsche that doesn’t have 4 point LED as DRL.

I think it should be ok.

FWIW, I also ordered black PDLS. Not a fan of the looks of the full LEDs where the 4 point is more spread out.

I will call my SA tomorrow and ask if the black PDLS has the 4 points DRLs. I will change to that if it hasn't locked already.

The Bi-Xenon upgrade should come with the 4 point DRL's. The Base lights do not, just a single 'standard' DRL. LED's are 4 point also but slightly different design.

This morning I did confirmed with my SA that the black PDLS lights comes with the 4 point LED DRLs. I've decided to keep my upgraded LED PDLS+ on my order.

Did you by chance also clarify if the base gt4 lights are 4-point LED DRL, or some other kind of LED DRL?

No, I did not ask about the standard bi-zenon. In videos I saw on YouTube it looks as if no 4 points LED DRLs were standard.

The description says that they are some kind of LED DRL:
Bi-Xenon™ headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights

Just wondering what kind is that. Maybe someone with the base gt4/spyder lights can post a pic?

Was in today looking at a GT4 with similar interior/exterior as my incoming Spyder....the SA said base lights have the 4 led pattern.

Thx. I saw that said somewhere else too. The base lights are a good match with silver wheels and I like that they omit the washer nipples for a cleaner look and ppf install. Nice that they too have the 4 led drls. A great option for someone not planning to do much night driving.
