What offer would get you to sell your GT4/Spyder?
With the current market craze going on right now of how all sports cars and super cars are being bought out what would you sell your car at? This is assuming you have NO replacement. High specced GT3's are have sold on BAT for over 200k for example. THIS IS JUST FOR FUN.
My Spyder came in at about 140ish after taxes (Got mine in May 2020). I spent 7k for PPF, about 5K for my exhaust, about another 2k for numeric shifter and other parts. Total 154K. That being said - would you sell if someone offered you 160? 175? What would be YOUR Sweet spot - 10k over cost everything? 20k? Keep in mind, there are no replacements for the forseeable future due to chip shortage and the recall fiasco

You cannot put a price on happiness - corny but true. But I do not have my car yet - it is expected next month; however, if someone came along and offered me $25k to buy it I would take it since I can get a 2022 allocation.

it is a question, hence why I said "just for fun." Aren't you that infamous guy who sits on these forums all day long posting negative comments to everyone? Point is, I'm asking at what price point would everyone let go of their cars

If you like cars the first question is what would you replace it with. i'm a manual non turbo driving experience kinda guy...... so the answer to me is not happening because we're at the end of an era here and this is the best that era has to offer right now. It's absolutely amazing Porsche is making a non turbo manual still that isn't a bloated whale from creature comforts. The only new sorta replacement is a gt3, and I'm unsure if that is a more enjoyable drivers car and is definitely something I am not able to get an allocation for so it's not even an option for me.
So your question to me is like going back in time to 1972 and asking a guy with a special order 70 hemi cuda if he would sell it for 10% more than he paid for it.... and then for the next 40 years that guy gets to swear and curse that there isn't one muscle car that is new to buy with his crappy profits. aka infinite regrets until the day he dies.

But imagine owning a Hemi Cuda today!
Will the Spyder/GT4 ever get there ... maybe my son will know.

I'd sell my 2020 Spyder that I got in July last year for Sticker+5k and be happy I got most of my money back for the Akropovic pipes, PPF and Cargraphics valve controller. I wouldn't lose the sales tax because I would make the buyer trade it through my Porsche dealer for another toy to be named later. haha. Mine has almost 5k miles. It's' a great car, but not a long term keeper for me. No one is paying you $150k for your used Spyder.

I'd let my 718 Spyder go in exchange for any mid-engine Ferrari with manual transmission that included lifetime free maintenance. I won't be holding my breath for any offers.
