About 8 months ago I thought about going back to a GT4 and trading my 18 GT3. Passed on the offer on my car. Fast forward to the current market and the same dealer offered $30k more for my GT3 on a configurable GT4. My GT4 is due in November.😄
The current market is a bit crazy.

i recently sold my 991.2 manual GT3 and am in the market for a 991.2 3RS. To me, the GT3 was pretty much the perfect street car + canyon and handful of track days, but I received an offer i couldn't refuse on it. Can I ask why you went to a GT4/spyder option over the GT3? The thought had crossed my mind as well, and it's purely because it's easier to stomach driving and pounding on a more "affordable" car. ATM i'm going full psycho looking for a 3RS.

Like any GT car, a lot of people buy them thinking that they'll be just like the regular versions, just a little sportier. Then they get it and realize that the compromises are bigger than they expected, and that it really wasn't the right car for them. And the current market frothiness is causing people who kinda realize this to try to cash in a little earlier than they otherwise would.
Anyone buying the GT4 as a daily driver is either making a mistake or a bit of a masochist. It's a fabulous car, but a bit of an impractical, brutal DD.

Sorry man, but this statement is just false. I own one car at a time only and I love driving this car for any reason, DD, canyon cruising, tracking, I get a huge smile every time I start it up, drive it anywhere and back. Drove car with newly installed swift springs 300 miles one way to Laguna Seca, car was beyond awesome to drive. And I have LWBS.

I love my GT4 anytime I get into it. That doesn’t mean it’s the right car for every drive/use.

Pre-trades or trades on 992 GT3, likely peak trade values as well for the remainder of the year. If you don't really want the car, it's a good time to sell.

Used still seems crazy. There is a gt4 where I am, 2020, less options than mine, and 16g above what I paid. The cheapest used one I see in the country is about 12g above what I paid.
