Porsche gasoline settlement

Porsche gasoline settlement
It appears that the gas mileage numbers may not have been quite accurate, but Porsche and VW agreed to a settlement instead of another Dieselgate.
The settlement website suggests payments between 200 and 1,200 US.
It seems the last year eligible is 2019, but so many of us have had multiple Porsche's through the claim years and models, it might be worth a look.

Thanks!
The website says my 2015 Base Cayman is eligible for $647.83 (max). And our 2019 Targa 4GTS is eligible for $200.00.
I'll read more on this and see if its worth applying for.

The Italians would just make up a number and be like it gets 1.
1 what no one knows.

In typical lawyernese you need to have all kinds of proof for older cars you have owned at one time: buy/sell contracts, registrations, insurance, DMV records, etc. Wonder who kept all of that info..

The lawyers kept all that info, that's who gets the money in these deals. I quit even replying to these suits years ago. I did my own coolant pipe repair as an example, sorry buddy you don't have a bill for the work, get lost.... and many others.

It's not that difficult to pull your original purchase info and then the sales documents.....
Or if you still own the car, then it's as simple as your purchase docs and current registration. Worth the effort for $600+ bucks!
Yet, to each their own..

Maybe I'm unique, yet I have these docs for all of my Porsche's.

For GT3s, looks like you have to participate in the PDK software update, too.
No thanks.

Thanks for the post. I was a part of the settlement regarding the light (sand beige) interiors for my 987.2 Spyder too. I've reached out to the RLer who bought it from me and still owns it. I had sent him all the info without keeping copies for myself.

Took less than 10 minutes to apply for 2 cars. All you need is your (Purchase) and (Sales or Current Registration Docs). Nothing more.
I will see if anything comes of it.....

I can speak to that one. That had to do with reflections on the windshield from the dash. I got that stupid letter where they would reimburse you for sunglasses up to $75 or something. I never took advantage of it as it was too much of a hassle.
