My recently landed GTS 4.0 with GTS interior package (Chalk tach and stitching), buckets, Burmester, aluminum shift ****, full leather dash including end caps, and leather steering column. Enjoying the break-in process while simultaneously anticipating completing it.

Beautiful! How are you enjoying the Burmester?

The treble and midrange clarity and power are noticeably better than my old "Sound Package Plus" in the 981S; however, the bass drivers need more break-in, being a little boomy at certain frequencies on specific recordings. I've only got about 350 miles racked up so far - much of that with the music off, as I adjust to the exhaust sound.

Even in high-end home systems (I have two), it's typical for larger speaker drivers to need their surrounds stretched a bit through vigorous excursions before they settle in at their best. So far, I've found the Burmester "Live" setting to be better than the "Natural", which at this stage seems overly polite at the frequency extremes. We shall see.

Hello

We picked up our Shark Blue Cayman GTS last Friday March 31st at the PEC Atlanta after a long wait.

Trip home went well over two days with Track Wrap for interim protection. The CGTS arrived home safely and was delivered to Clear Auto Bra (CAB in Plymouth, Michigan on Sunday afternoon. The owners Larry and Jennifer have been installing film for over 20 years.

Here are a few photos of the Espresso / Cognac natural leather interior with the Deviated Seat Center Option, we think the interior combination turned out great. Will post some additional photos soon.

Larry is truly a “Master” at applying the film and Clear Auto Bra in Plymouth, Michigan is the “go to place” in the Motor City.

Has anyone had this done in Race-Tex?

Has anyone successfully gotten an upholsterer to redo 18-way seats with custom seat inserts?
