I gave a before and after behind the wheel but it is not controlled for many variables. I cannot say that my hard pull on the oem setup was the same pull as with the BC Fabs exhaust. I did not keep track of the distance travelled or time or average speed before measuring temps so as I said before my data is crude at best. Unfortunately this was performed as an after thought and I should add very little thought at that. Lol. I posted it here because I was just looking for some various temp data points to see if there was anything worthwhile to dig into in more depth and hoping someone put in more thought than I did and had some better data. Looking for possible trend to form a hypothesis and then prove or disprove it. Even the video above was less than ideal at best but clearly better controlled than my data.

Immediate temperature of oem oap behind wheel was 287 degrees, after 2 mins of shutdown 261 degrees and 5 mins 137 degrees on a day that temp was 76 degrees and 72% humidity with oil temp of 219 degrees.
Immediate temp of BC Fab heatshielded oap behind wheel was 174 degrees, after 2 mins of engine shutdown the temp was 153 degrees and at 5 mins it was 117 degrees on a day the temp was 73 degrees with 65% humidity with oil temp of 221 degrees.
My thoughts are that BC Fabs heatshielded oap radiates less heat than oem heatshielded oap with the opf under somewhat similiar conditions but cannot be taken as fact with a n of 1 on oem and BC Fab oap and no controll of variables. Take it with a grain of salt. Enjoy your Porsches.
