What is your most pleasantly surprised option(s) that you now love?
After driving my Spyder for 9 months now, I can say the car is even beyond my high expectations. I literally try and think of ways and opportunities to get into it and take it for a spin.
While considering and picking my options, this board was very helpful in terms of feedback and ideas regarding the pro/cons of the various options. These are the options that I am extremely happy that I checked the box for myself personally, yet was not clear at the time these would be good options / worth the money to me:
1) The "Burm" - Yes, this debate is always raging on this board. Is it worth it? Does it matter in a Spyder, etc.... For me, I am extremely pleased with the option as I personally listen to a lot of music while driving.
2) Leather Backed 18-Way Seats - I love the way that the leather finishes the interior of the car (instead of silver plastic on the backs of the seats).
3) Spyder Illuminated Sill Guards - Puts a smile on my face every time I open the door and catches my eye

1. Illuminated side sills with the 4RS along with my race tex alcantara + arctic gray stitching door sill guards.
2. Painted pass throughs on my buckets in my exterior color + seat inserts.
3. PDLS+, makes the car look so good from the front end plus the functionality of them. I would not buy a base headlight 718.

Hm... lol - I'm glad I selected all the options I selected - I obsessed over them for months before my order locked and each of them are lovely little touches - even the overpriced fuel cap and painted headlight cleaner nozzles... the LED headlights are awesome and I can't imagine not having dual climate control in a six figure car of this day and age...
I guess the one thing that surprised me most about the car was the amount of storage space. I know this is not an "option" but between the front and rear trunks, I was able to pack a lot of gear with plenty of room to spare on the various road trips.
If I had to chose an option I'd probably have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the bucket seats on long drives. I drove the car back from PEC ATL (2 day drive) and they were extremely comfortable for the whole drive. I was expecting to be sore after an hour...

1) The shiny Exclusive Design fuel cap. I thought it would be a waste of $ but it’s so nice seeing it every time she needs a fill up vs. the stock cheap looking all black one. Definitely an option that is worth exponentially more in satisfaction vs. its cost to check the box.
2) The painted keys. Another feature that really adds a very special touch to the ownership experience that also far exceeds its cost:enjoyment ratio.

LWBS - they make the car for me. Feels special before I turn it on. Well into my build process I was debating 14 vs 18 ways, only switched to LWBS after trying them at PEC Atlanta.
If we include aftermarket as an option, my Kline exhaust, at about $5k.

I have the gas cap on my 2022 BGTS, but I bought the car used and personally couldn't care less about the gas cap--however I wish every day that the person who spec'd my car had included the smoker's package. In 3 months of ownership, I'm getting real tired of reaching down into the footwell to connect my CTEK battery maintainer. Considering retrofitting it. As for my favorite option: now that I've added the sensors (which were omitted at the factory on MY 2022"s) to open the trunk and frunk with gestures, I'm liking the Porsche Entry and Drive. And while not an "option" per se, having the car coded to open and close the top using the key fob is nice too.
