That was good. Thanks for posting. My favorite part was when he so matter-of-factly said, “And of course we speced the manual.”

I dont really understand the complaint about storage space when he talks about only having keys, a wallet, and a phone. Do people just not keep these things in their pocket when they drive their car? At the very most i have my phone plugged into for charging/carplay but thats about it and the center console has enough space for my phone.

hahah that is fair. Yeah when i had the GT4 i definitely felt i had more than enough storage space. If anything i actually find my M4 to be a bit more lacking in that department despite it being a bigger car.

Pretty disappointing reliability from that video, tbh. New clutch needed at 26k miles at a cost of $4,900. I would chalk it up to user error/abuse but IIRC there were a some cases of exactly what the host described, i.e. high rpm clutch slip from others with the 6MT. Did they all suck at driving stick or is the clutch a weak point in these cars?

Good summary. No space for a purse? That's why one buys the 911.
I find the cupholder to be the perfect size to hold my CamelBak cycling water bottle. It is pretty sturdy. It is thirsty business driving with the top down and shifting gears on a warm afternoon. Worn clutch I attribute to abuse and/or multiple drivers. Engine can only be heard above 4k rpms. Sounds familiar. One has to drive it in only first or second or risk the wrath of the local constabulary. AC? No clue.
I could also hear the chirping of the fuel injectors at the start of the video.

I was wondering what was taking them so long on their 40k update after racking up 30k in a few months haha. Good video, and the electrical gremlins are things that are supposedly being worked on. I want to know where their getting their dealer maintenance done for those prices haha.

A/C issue and failed clutch…huh, sounds familiar.

I'm sure they were doing quite a lot of launches in that car... especially given they were doing 0-60 times... and he admitted in the video that the clutch sustained "abuse".

Worth noting that $4900 will fix just about anything that is likely to ever go wrong with a PDK, at this point. That is one expensive clutch job.

Smoking gun right there. These cars have a clutch issue. It wasn't C&D's fault, and they should have done enough Googling to know that.

They should keep it another 40k when all the adhesives start to fail.
