SRS first impression
since 2010 , bought 991.1, 991,2 and 992.1 GT3, PDK and Manual, tested on track all RSs again 991.1, 991.2, 992.1, GT4.1 RS
none is competent and game changer as the 992.1 RS on track
But on legal roads , noway
just collected today the SRS, is so visceral, angry, damn good old school car
Guys waiting for one, you re ****in lucky dogs

Spent the day driving a friend's SRS on some amazing roads. I own a 4RS.
The car is downright fabulous. To address what some have touched on:
Stiffness: It's definitely softer and more compliant than the 4RS. It was immediately apparent and noticeable. It also felt to me like it had softer bars front/rear as well as it was not as flat as the 4RS. The PSM is also actually usable on the SRS vs. the 4RS. It goes from very compliant to firmer with a quicker transitional set. This was pleasantly surprising. I also get the feeling that there is a hair of chassis flex in the car and/or maybe why they softened it up.
Loudness: the numbers don't tell the story here. I hit a max of 108db on the meter which is more or less the same as my 4RS. With the lack of the echo chamber that is the roof/windows, it seemed much quieter though and not as harsh in the mid range to my ears. I know this is not a solid state amp but still I never once got volume fatigue in the several hours of driving the car.
Usability: I think i narrowly give this to the 4RS because despite being stiffer and louder than the SRS, the SRS has the silly top that is a less then user friendly. It also has a speed limit when the top is up lol.
I honestly loved this car way more than I expected but that is due to largely the same formula as the 4RS but toned down to make it a fantastic street car with a maniacal character. Those that have it on order; congrats!

How do you rank and compare Spyder RS, then, with all the cars you listed above on legal roads?
Where are you located?
Looking forward to extended comments.

so far the SRS in compare to all the Porsche above is the most fun to drive, power to size ratio is sensational , pdk-s is sublime, the way you can ENJOY the car also at LEGAL speed is something that remember me the old school 458 NA V8 but BETTER in the SRS!!!
the SRS indeed is way more compliant than GT4RS
A sensational car not a defect but rather her hard rock personality -->>today i want to check if the spinning on uneaven surface is due the aggressive traction control or rear suspension rebound
Can't wait to complete the break in !!!!

As ive said all along the SRS is THE ONE. Congrats. I wont even ask what you paid as it wont matter because its the one that goes down in the history books as very very special and will hold its value the most (like a speedster sans the manual). The 4RS doesnt compare. Good luck with the car and keep us updated!
