Anyone in Bay Area with these parts
Considering a few upgrades on my GTS 4.0 but would like to hear/ feel them before committing. Wondering if anyone has the following done on their vehicle and would be open to a quick meetup anywhere in the Peninsula/SF/South Bay or at an upcoming event.
1. Over axel pipes (Soul or Flat 6)
2. Numeric short shifter
3. Valve controller (button install as I want to see if it looks OEM or not)
Beer on me, many thanks!

Volume is very subjective, but I'd consider it "loud-ish" but not catless loud. The increased volume is due to the OAP, not the JCR back box.
And yes, it does have mild/moderate drone in the 2,xxx rpm range but tolerate it based on the glorious sound (subjective).
Search in the various past exhaust threads and you'll find plenty on these points.

I have OAPs and forced open exhaust valves with everything else stock. I also have a GT4 short shifter in. Maybe we should all schedule a meet up sometime next week, maybe Saturday or Friday evening?

I have the OAPs and valve controller on my GT4 in Redwood City, so not far from you at all! Happy for you listen and check it out.
Edit: I recently drove a 991.2 GT3T with a numeric short shifter with 2mm springs. The throw was super short and I'm seriously considering buy in, especially as I can move it to my incoming 992 GTS.
The numeric made my GT4 shifter feel sloppy with too much play.

I have Akra OAPs and that's it on my Spyder. Seems to breathe a little easier, maybe more pronounced burbles and crackles, and there's definitely a throatier, deeper note. But some here prefer that high pitched, raspy sound from the flat six, so just an OAP might not be for you if you are of that mindset.

It would be awesome to hear the JCR from @cybers3c and the Kline from @Wei718, back to back at some point! Any other Bay Area folks with different brand exhausts? Please let me know if you all plan on meeting up. I have just the Cargraphic module now but will have the Soul OAP installed as soon as they get back from Swain Tech.

Longtime forum lurker here, but I'm getting closer to my GTS delivery date and am eager to hear setups, particularly leaning towards Kline.
Having driven a 981S, I appreciate the clutch feel and would be interested in comparing it to the 718, which I've heard has a less precise and softer clutch.
I'm in Fremont, but would be good to meetup and am down to contribute to the beer/dinner tab.

I just bought a used GT4 with Soul OAP and SOUL cat back exhaust. It’s not the competition version. Unfortunately I’m having it shipped and it may take weeks for it to arrive in SF.
I’ll be following this thread. Would be fun to meetup and hear other exhaust options.
Based on YouTube the car absolutely screams with headers but of course it wouldn’t pass smog.

I have Kline Inconel OAPs+backbox, valve controller and full numeric shifter+cables in my Spyder. Out of town for a couple weeks but happy to meet up in late April/early May!

might I suggest a potential meetup and the OP can ear directly the variations for themselves?
there's a PCA-GGR cars & coffee scheduled for 4/28 location TBD might be an option, or maybe a meetup before then (Alice's next weekend)?
