FSR VIR 5/2011 Video "playing tag w/ rmag"
Had a super good time again chasing rmag around the vir f course last weekend.
This was the 1st session Sunday and after just 2 days (friday and saturday) our tires were smoked but I still squeezed out a 2.07 (beginning at the 2.42 mark). Hot weekend and the track seemed a bit slow to everyone so clearly no lap times to write home about but I had a silly good time hanging w/ my track mates.

excellent work behind the wheel, really a joy to watch, the guy in front had a great line as well, just had a bit more power through the straights.... guess its time to upgrade to the .2

What? No Sabbath sound track?
Fritz, thanks for the vid. It was good to see you! Too bad I lost my radiator after only 5 laps the first day......I would have enjoyed running with you guys. Hmmm.....the last time I was chasing Ryan he kept throwing rocks & dirt at me too!
Luckily my wife brought her Cayman and I was able to share the car with her. I really had a lot of fun running it! It sure was slippery but that only added to the fun for me!

All the GT cars are super but that .2 is truly a beast and it's no doubt a tuff animal to wrestle but I'll just have to figure out how to use the go pedal a little more, start cutting holes in the metal (not much more can be taken out of the car lol), buy susp parts, etc....etc.... OR just bring the FD (3rd gen rx7) to the track the next time rmag is there . The two RX7s I pass in the vid are my fellow track rats and they were running some good laps at 2.11. The yellow car knocked out a 2.07 at the last TT we attended 10/10 which tells you how slow the track was.
THANKS!
Great time on the RA1s. I think it will be tuff to chisel it down further w/o running better tires.
At the zone 2 event which was much better weather rmag had a 2.04 and I ran a 2.05. I think he's pushing a bit harder into 3 and up the esses and through 17 now so if the weather is good he could see a 2.03 or even lower later this year.

OUTSTANDING job in the Cayman you had lots of people talking about that car
Ryan is a piece of work. Tosses rocks at me any chance he can and when I take a picture of him and his beautiful rig he flips me off in the photo, JUST WOW! hehe
PS I have lots of video from this event so don't worry I'll crank the tunes in the next one.

Three Wheelin'
Awesome time doing lead follow Fritz! Thanks for the tip in the esses! Weekend was great, but too hot. Got up to 92, so track was real slippery. best I could muster was a 2:05.
Here's a vid of fritz and his *** hanging out everywhere. Was last session on sat, so super slick. Lots of hand work just to keep the car on track as 4 wheel drifting in most corners. Fritz finally found a way to hold me back... (see 3o second mark). He starts to lose it going into the snake, makes me go straight and brake, so if he didnt save it, i could have just driven off and missed him.

Also met Bob (RWK), and his '07RS build is a friggin' beast. 2850lb wet, carbon this/that, 405hp at the wheel, full suspension, race motons, blah, blah, blah. Oh and his 996 RSR build wasn't to shabby either.
Helps keep you back. Hell, I had to stick a screwdriver in BMANs radiator just to keep him from passing us this weekend
