Stripes along to top of my outlaw or get rid of them?

[QUOTE=Mike_A;14716288]Oh Bro! That 935 front air dam with the sugar scoop is all wrong.....car is way out of balance both parked and at 150[/QUOTE
Appreciate your comment, however on the track the car is very neutral and while large, the front bumper houses a large oil cooler that is necessary in this part of Texas in the summer. So sometimes function over rules form. I agree it is large and I would rather have an RS style for cosmetic balance but the oil cooler issue over rules

LOL.....You confirmed what he was saying. IF it's a race car then keep the meatballs, if not, loose them. That's all he is saying. No need to be rude. On the other hand my cab has meatballs and they ain't going anywhere.

What's rude is car shaming anyone's car on this forum as being a poseur. It is a race car - roll bar etc. and if it wasn't Porsche owners are entitled to do what they want with their cars without people suggesting they are poseurs.

OK, so we have established that it's a race car because it has a roll bar and it's a Porsche. What camber/caster/toe/spring rate/ ride height/ damper valving/ brakes does it have?

Folks, let’s not have a flame war; this is very easily sorted out. Mr. OP, I’ve looked carefully at the photos and detailed specs of your car on your BAT listing. I’m curious which national race sanctioning organization has issued a logbook for your racecar and its race classification? Hey, I’ll start. The racecar in my avatar (1967 911 S-spec) conforms to the 1967 GCR, has racing logbooks for PCA Club Racing (class GT-6), SCCA (class CP-1), and VMC (class CP), I am national-level triple competition-llicensed to race with those same organizations, and I’m reasonably familiar with their racecar eligibility rules. I look forward to learning more about your racecar.

Please don't resort to name calling. If you have an issue with someone's comment, address the comment. Don't fling an insult and attack the person.
On the other side, perhaps there's a better word to use other than "poseur." Just a thought.
Thanks for keeping it nice, gents.

$46k, not bad! I'm a bit envious of the buyer.

Much easier said than done. When Porsche first provided the blacked out trim it was anodized aluminum. Turned purple in a couple of years--or faded back to dull silver. Then, in the course of several years, they adopted powder coating of the appropriate parts. Much better solution. To get that blacked out look will require either a lot of disassembly, or a lot of masking tape. It's not easy.
