Educate me on 3.2 Speedsters
Thinking about adding one to the garage.
Wondering how many were made?
Prices seem to range from $130-250K and seem mostly mileage dependent. Is that correct?
I haven't followed this market in the past. Is it soft right now?

Mileage and condition dependent
range seems right
a little soft as I’ve casually seen it. Don’t dollow closely
for the coin there may be other interesting things.

823 were made for the US market, all built on the wide body. An accurate # fluctuates on ROW production. With ROW cars built on narrow body and wide body. Noone wanted the narrow body cars when they were originally sold and today they are the most desirable.
There have always been many for sale and I think 150 - 225 is the current asking range. A low millage ( 800 mile) 89 speedster sold at auction in Monterrey for 315k in 2015 so probably at the peak.
I am biased, I think they are one of the few cars that look beautiful with the top up or down, nothing special about performance with the 3.2, but with turbo body you get the best suspension and braking available in that era. Good luck in your search, PM me if I can answer any questions.
