Default How much $ to change brake/clutch fluid

How much money should I expect to pay Porsche certified mechanic to change the fluids on the brake/clutch system of a 1988 911 Turbo look cab? I do not need a full service at this time.

I can do my own with a home-made pressure bleeder in less than an hour. I would assume a mechanic is at least as quick, so you should expect to pay about an hour's labour plus 1 litre of brake fluid.

Dr Chris:

FWIW, we charge 1 hour of shop time for a system flush/bleed. Rates vary all over the place and you'll need to see what it is in your area.

Fluid and Environmental charges are extra, of course.

One hour plus around 10-15$ for blue brake fluid. If you have done some work on your car before it's not hard to do. A brake bleeder and be had for 35$ or you can even make one. It's a great way to learn some about your car. Also make sure they/you check the brake lines.
