If this car runs and drives, I love this car as a ratty rat rod driver, if it were priced at $6k, and you were a 911 expert.
But, at $25k, that car is nearly a textbook example of "The cheapest Porsche you buy will be the most expensive Porsche you buy"
I would love to know the story of this car.

Look at that mileage, LOL.
Fender flares are cracking off
Undercarriage has rotted through, and has even been patched, several times.
Interior is trashed.
Rust on the odometer
I've never seen a passenger seat that trashed.
No wipers

Hillbilly,
What is your budget? Your best value is to get the nicest one you can afford. And then do maintenance as it comes.

Stay away from that place. Buy privately if possible.

The original poster may have heard enough... he/she hasn't visited the forum since the 30th.

You can pay now, or you can pay later but either way you are going to pay. This is true for any any collector car but especially true for Porsche.

Be aware of that dealer, somehow they ended up with my 1969 912 Soft Window Targa that I had sold to a guy here in Central Florida. It was in SAD Shape. Needed more work than I could do at my age and bank account !! When I looked at their photos of my car they sprayed flat black across most anything that was rusty !!!

Watch these videos of this 911 build.........he is ahead of most guys as his was free !! Saved it from a CRUSHER This looks like it's not his first project car. He has the redneck engineering ability to do things on the CHEAP !!! I haven't seen all his project but you can learn a bunch from him.

Wow. That thing is rotten. I mean... I wouldn't pay 24k for it. It's worth whatever the engine/trans are worth. If those are mint... it's 15k... I guess. I personally would pay... 8k. Tops. To get that right would require 30k... and then you just have a restored 74 which isn't particularly desirable, and that thing is hacked all sorts of ways.
