My 70T Project
I started with an ex Magnus Walker red 70T with a 2.4 MFI engine mated to a 901 transmission as shown below
I changed out the engine, transmission and suspension to 1983 SC pieces. The engine is a 3.0L with 964 cams and PMO's. The transmission is an aluminum 915 with LSD and a short gear stack (SC RS gears). I used Signal Yellow for the color and the whole color scheme is mainly yellow, black, brown and carbon fiber. Lots of other non stock suspension parts, engine mounts and shifter parts as well. Partway through the project Hans Mezger passed away so I decide to make this car a tribute to him. The door sills are backlit with yellow light that is close to the Signal Yellow of the body. Here are some pictures of the completed project.

Very nice work. I really like the exhaust setup. Hope you plan to drive it often. And hard.

Thank you. I literally did everything on this project with the exception of the powder coating on suspension pieces, the upholstery in the center of the seats and the actual spraying of the color. I got sensitized to urethane paints years ago so I had a paint technician that used to work for me do the actual application of the paint. I prefer to work alone and did this project mostly to keep busy in retirement. It was a great stress reliever during this Covid crap as I could bounce around between suspension work, engine and tranny work, bodywork, interior work etc.
