Fantastic!!! I love the fact they've spent all that time taking TWELVE hi-res photos (one would have been enough to keep my hands in my pockets)

Anyway, why don't we all chip in and bring this once beauty back to former glory (we could maybe auction it off afterwards and give the money to charity??)

You know the 'ol saying .....there are no old Porsches, only new owners.

This one may be an exception.

I saw a couple of parts that may be worth saving. The engine is probably worth the opening price. Could be worth more on e-bay.

you guys are missing the point, see how he emphasizes "clean title". being form brooklyn may have corrupted my mind, but seems like a perfect car for a "tag" job.

basicly, buy this shiit box, steal a nice one and change over the paperwork. Happens a lot here in NYC.

the tail, fuchs motor and tranny (if their good) are worth a few grand aren't they? plus the glass seems pretty good too.

A game I play with 'parked' vehicles is trying toguess what was the last straw that took it off the road. Damned if i can even guess at this.

Now, it has SC flares, but interestingly it is rusty on both rear quarters where the flares are. Interesting rust on the roof. Have to wonder about the engine and trans if the body shows the treatment it got.

I weep for the loss of another fine car.

Thumbs down

It looks like someone decided they wanted a Targa, went after it with a screwdriver, and then gave up. It would make a nice mouse trap though!

The seller wouldn't know a period if it hit him in the face and stained his shirt.

If the vin is right wouldn't it be a '77? BTW maybe this would be one of those challenges where if you can restore this........... You know a badge of courage and honor!

I don't understand how the roof can rot that bad!!
I've seen cars that have stood outside for 50 years that don't have rot on the roof like that. Is it because of the sunroof or damp getting inside the car & condensing on the roof perhaps.
The rust would have to come from the inside.

I once saved a Mustang Mach 1 that was horrible, BUT at least I got to keep the roof and trunk on mine!
