Hi,

I recently purchased a 72' 911. first time driving at night it appears the bright are on. I played with the turn signal stalk and it doesn't feel like it wants to pull in or out to activate or deactivate the brights.

Questions?
How do I activate the brights? Is it the turn signal switch and is it a pull in? How hard do I pull? Sounds like I may need to replace the switch but want to make sure that is how they are turned on and off first.

not sure about the early cars, but my 84 is push forward for high and pull back to switch back to low.

Sounds like the little micro switch in the stalk has gone bad not unusual

Sometimes you can (very carefully) take the stalk apart and clean the contacts. It sounds like there may be more going on with your switch than dirty contacts though.
