Looking to buy a 1977 911S. Advice?

Peter Zimmerman's "The Used 911 Story" says that "...one of the most important changes ... took place for the 1976 models. Very few people are aware of it, but these models, sold in West Germany, were delivered with a full six year unconditional warranty covering any and all rust ... all sheet metal pieces of the assembly were fitst coated with zinc... This warranty is not valid in the United States, but all 911 models built since the early 1976 model year have the same treatment done...".
