Thats a parts car unless you have a whole new front clip (and that gives it a salvage title).

Help me out with what you're telling me, Steve.
1. No owner would fix it, because of the title issue so take 3 or 4 K, for engine, tran, etc. 2. Get a clip from a yard and fix it. (yep, i can fix anything) thanks my man |

Check out this thread http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...what-sold.html
To fix that car even doing it yourself, you will have more into it than it would be worth. Salvage title will limit who will buy when your ready to sell. Parting it would bring good money but also a lot of work. Of course JMHO. |

it's mine. i was driving. first i thought i'd part it out, but then decided it ain't worth the hassle, since there's plenty of interest for the car whole.
just trying to see what opinions were out there, what a fair price would be. so far the best advice is buy another one !! thanks a lot for posting. |

I think #1 is your best option. If you have the patience and fortitude, you'll get good cost recovery on everything.

That looks like a nasty bang, i bet there were a few aches afterwards.. I don't think anyone will buy it in hopes of fixing it , figure what you can get for the engine and transmision and let it go for that .. then move on and pick up another one ..

People on Pelican are parting out unwrecked cars for very good money. Engine and gearbox are just the beginning. It's amazing how many other parts and assemblies can bring some serious bucks. I'm assuming you insured the car, that you've gotten your settlement and bought the car back from the insurance company. With some time and work you can probably do well. If it isn't insured, you may still be able to raise enough to come out OK and have a nice start for your next 911.
