Sorry, but I don't get it. The simplest, most elegant solution that you know will actually work, not to mention is invisible ...nothing to futz with when you just want to add heat; pull a lever, done! Plus, all the parts are available, most of them used as folks are ridding themselves of those items when they track/race prep their cars. A set of SSIs will give you great performance and roast weenies at your feet if you need to (should you get hungry after that long canyon drive ).

FWIW, I decided to keep my heat and blower (at the engine) on my Trackmeister for comfort, and it's a minimal weight penalty. I ditched the footwell blower (smuggler's box) and ducting to save that weight. All in all, I have plenty of heat whenever I need it. Easy.

Poor thing must be getting tired standing in those shoes and now you're offering up her coat? I'd have to let her have a seat in my car - the heat works great.

Hahahaha... well thanks for checking!.. I assume the hair dryer idea was from the Pinto forum

RUF on its Yellowbird used a petrol heater installed in the front. Not sure how good they are though or even how much they cost!

Maybe run the oil lines through a small Heat Exchanger and then use the blower for the cabin????

No, i never said that... i actually never said what or why i was doing this. Both my cables to my heater boxes snapped... due to my boxes being rusted so bad... my blower motor is shot., too.. so i thought rather than dealing with it this winter, i'd try to get by with an alternative until I got all this fixed. I only mentioned 'what do you guys without heat exchangers' do for heat... thinking they'd be the ones most likely with a solution/alternative.

I wasn't laughing about going back to stock... i was laughing at everyone and their 'funny' suggestions. I know my goal is to get all back to stock... but just curious about any other 'quick' temporary fixes.

ah yes... they knew what they were doing.. thats why my SC only came with a 3.0, they could have gone larger They put leather on my dash and not on my seats .. Nah, the dash leather won't shrink in the sun They know what they are doing.
But seriously, i know the heatexchangers are the best option... I just need to get it fixed.. i get that already
