Need help identifying these black wheels
I like the wheel set up on the pic below, and would like to do same to my 3.2 carrera. Not sure if the owner is a member here, but appreciate any help you can provide. thx in advance.

Those look like shi-ite on that car, IMO. They look like late model offsets on my phone, which mean ludicrous spacers and poor looks-"clumsy", to my eye. If you want black, start with a cookie cutter in proper offset.

+1 ^. Those look terrible on that car. I don't think they are any version of the CUP wheels though. Something like this comes to mind...

To me they look like 993 cup II's with a glossy black finish.
If they are fact 993 wheels with spacers than they are wrong on two accounts - (fit and finish) if they are replicas with the right offset then they are still wrong on two accounts (finish and now weight)
I think these look better (and they fit, and they are lighter)

Welcome gotred3.2. You came to the right place and obviously have elicited some opinion of which I somewhat agree. Those are absolutly the wrong wheels for a torsion bar 911. Really Fuchs are the obvious choice and the photo of the car shows poor choice of wheels and improper lowereing. Just from the picture I would be willing to bet that car drives and handles poorly.
Wheels that are too heavy are a real anchor and ruin every aspect of 911 feedback. Wheels that are too light have drawbacks as well. The Mahle "cookie cutter" wheels are some of the lightest available and are as good for performance as Fuchs and a good choice for track tires if you can handle the 15" size(narrow/early and 2.7 cars). Fuchs, however, belong on a T-bar 911.

Thanks for all the feedback. Took everyone's advice & picked up set of used fuch instead. Will powdercoat in glossy black and be done with it. Wanted to stay with the stock offset and was having problems finding aftermarket wheels with the right size anyway, esp the 16x6 fronts. Studying the pic more closely, the stance does look a little awkward.
I'll share pics when I finish this proj. Hoping it will look good.

Ahh, the power of peer pressure. This is like a support group here, we'll keep you on the straight and narrow!
Be sure and post pics when the wheels are done.

How nice Ed. The duck-tail really brings out the sculpted rear arches. A Turbo tail ruins the lines. Stance (rake) is critical to the curb appeal AND handling of the 911. The photo in the OP should get rid of the fog lights as well and blank out the "mouth" if they're not going for an oil cooler. The spoiler on that car is really ineffective.
gotred3.2: How about some photos of the recipient of the new Fuchs. The finish options can dramatically enhance the 911 persona. Maybe we can guilt-trip you into polished spokes/lip and painted crest center caps. It all depends on the car - get some pics up so we can confuse you more.
Have a great Christmas everyone.
