something tells me their database didn't include pre-'89 911s... the subject of this forum.
however, it does appear that cars w/ the least expensive parts are highly correlated with the biggest POS.

Did they say what years of the 911? My 1989 911 3.2 has been very reliable as well as my previous 1980, 1984, and 1985 911. My current Cab has some alarm gremlin currently. My 928 seems to be a lot more expensive to maintain.

My 911 is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive to maintain, I concur. I can't seem to ever stop buying parts.
I've had a couple of Celebrities for company cars in the late '80's. I know they could make it through 50,000 miles of extremely abusive driving.

saw a Buick Reatta the other day and almost broke my neck trying to see it go by.. have not seen one in maybe 8 years... kind of a rare car to begin with. The only reason I know about it is I had a boss that bought one.... he liked younger girls... I was younger
he had some nice passengers!!!

The link is dead for me, but from what I understand all this ranking is is simply a compendium of parts prices for normal maintenance items. So we can conclude that 911s (of whichever vintage that list applies) have more expensive oil filters, air filters, brake pads etc then Pontiac 6000s... Don't know what is surprising about that!
Really has nothing to do with reliability or true cost of ownership etc.
