Color code for "tan" interior
Hi guys,
I used to own a 1980 SC Targa with an interior that has "tan" seat and brown dash. I had some leather material left and just realized that it matches my 2001 NSX's Camel interior. Does anyone know the color code of that color? I have checked many websites and the color is not listed. The material that I have is from Autos International which calls it Tan 3022 which was a code for the 356. I know for a fact that it was the same color of my Targa.
I wonder if "bamboo" is the same as the 3022 color.

Here are pictures of a 1980 coupe that has the same interior colors which are very common in the early 1980's. I am sure a few Rennlist members have the same.

I was going to say it looks pretty close to the "champagne" in my '84, but judging from the shadows it was taken in an evening light which is more reddish...
but that's my guess.
but that's my guess.

According to my trusty "Porsche 911 Red Book," here are the interior leather colors for the 1980 model year:
Beige, Yellow, Dark Green, Dark Blue, Blue, Cork, Black, Brown, Light Red, White, Doric Gray.
I'd say Beige or Yellow is your color. Unfortunately, the book doesn't include the color codes.
BTW, I used to own an S2000, and I went to school in San Francisco, so we have much the same tastes!

I am pretty certain that "Cork" is the color you are looking for. That was the usual tan interior from the late '70's till early '80's when "Champagne" replaced it then in about '88 "Cashmere" became available. All 3 are very similar, but if your interior is orig .then Cork is likely the color you have.
