Looks like she'll clean up relatively easy. Now you just need to find a motor to put in her. There's a couple for sale on Pelican so you could start there.

1.6 bar? No wonder the motor went south. Btw, you can buy the reset key for the boost gauge at North Hollywood Speedo for @ $5.

Thanks for the info.... I haven't decided what I want to do for an engine yet. That is why I joined up here to do some searching around. Might want to go with something different than early 80's technology.

Is that a 70 lemans or a gto? my first and second cars were both 70 lemans, both started with a 350 and ended with a 455.

I'd like to meet a girl that drives a Judge instead of a Lexus anyday. Btw, my gf drives a Lexus and says my turbo is too noisy. LOL You are a lucky man!

I saw a movie when I was a kid (1970's) where some highschool kid finds this Corvette about to be scrapped, he saves it from the crusher and builds it back to a hot rod. I am still debating exactly what I want to do with it regarding drive train and comforts (might make it a light weight with a cage). I will keep posting up progress as I get further into it over the winter. I appreciate the support that I am getting on this forum.

I have also moved the thread to the turbo forum where I should have posted from the onset.
