End of the Season for Me
In my part of the world the good driving season for sports cars is coming to an end If you're an ice racing enthusiast it won't be too long afore the -30C and snow blows in.
Was + 20C the past couple of weekends so I have been able to get the 911SC out for a few miles. Looks like Sunday may be the last great day and will try and squeeze a trip in between my Sunday bachelor chores.
Today's trip was the 524 west of Medicine Hat through the Hays maze to the 36 and then south through Vauxhall and Taber for a great burger. Then home via the Crowsness (#3) through Bow Island and Seven Persons.
Here's a couple of photos from last weekends trip out through Orion and Manyberries. And yes, the scenery is that desolate when you get away from the irrigation canals.
Hope all have many more miles left in 2010. Can't wait til 2011, but there are a few minor bits of maintenance on the 911SC and the GT6 that will be getting attention this winter.
Cheers.

Here in South Western Ontario we have a few more weeks but the brine is showing up on the roads now which makes me nervous ... All i have to do is wash it anyway .. don't have anything planned ..

My wife's convertible is away. The '68 went away last weekend. I just finished changing the oil on the '84 but it will stay out until the first snowfall is forecast. Yes, you can see winter coming.
But it was a good season...no complaints.

Out here in the east, we've had a hell of alot of rain. Usually both cars go away at the first snow fall forecast or sign of salt on the road. Hopefully another few weeks left before that happens.

Still decent Posrche weather here in NJ, I park em when the first snow hits or it just gets to damn cold to drive on summer rubber.
Snows are already on the Cayenne.
