love it

Unexciting items for me: pop off valve, sun roof felt, maintenance spares, owner's manual, stuttgart plate + surround, hood bras, first aid kit, warning triangle

All inexpensive items from eBay and PP.

I gave myself a couple of cylinder head temperature gauges, for peace of mind. Over the winter I will remove the radio and put them there.

That's an Innovate air/fuel ratio gauge, running off oxygen sensors in both headers. More peace of mind and help tuning the carb's.

Probably getting the "poofy" sunvisors restored

Sucro headlight relay kit

New headliner

Maintenance parts for the next 15K service; I am trying to drive the Targa at least 12,000 miles year before gasoline becomes unaffordable or unavailable by the end of the next decade.

New side mirrors, a new front emblem & I'm working on a deal for a new top (I'm sure you will see a happy dance post somewhere when I finally get one)

Merry Christmas all!

New clutch, new cylinders/pistons, all new fuel lines, new oil lines, lots of new seals and o-rings, thermostat and oil line switches, engine sound mat, fire extinguisher and mount, lower head studs/nuts, new alternator, sway bar link, and lots more...let's just say it was an unexpected Christmas present due to finding a broken head stud during a valve job and clutch change...figured if the engine and tranny were out I might as well replace all the hard to reach stuff and replace a lot of old worn parts to keep her running for another 23 years.

I get to do an early birthday present to repair the battery acid leak that has eaten through a small part of the body up front, and a new windshield seal to stop the minor leaking before replacing the interior carpeting...guess the new stereo and speakers will have to wait for 2012...

Working hard for a move to Germany this summer with the Air Force so it will all be worth it to motor down the Autobahn at triple digits confident that she is in top shape and still the best expression of art and engineering combined...
